The NBA season is almost here. While the majority of people think the NBA season is already over before it even begins (let’s just go ahead and crown the Golden State Warriors right now, right?). we still have to let the season play out because YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN, RIGHT?

What if the Warriors are involved in some kind of freak accident and everyone gets hurt?

Well, the league just opened up for all 29 other teams to win the whole thing.

Even though I personally believe it would take a plane wreck to take the Warriors down, there are some NBA teams out there that think they have the tools and weapons to do exactly that.

Are the Phoenix Suns one of those teams? Probably not. Look, we can’t beat around the bush with these guys. It’s no secret that the Suns likely won’t be a very good basketball team this year. Who is their superstar? Eric Bledsoe? He’s might be the Suns best player, but if he’s the best player on your team, your team isn’t very good. That’s not a knock against Bledsoe, it’s just the truth. Devin Booker is a fun player to watch. He’s quickly turning into one of the NBA’s best scorers, but that’s really all he’s good at right now. Outside of those two players, what does Phoenix bring to the table this season? This team really needs someone else to step up and that someone else may be #4 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Josh Jackson. If Jackson is as good as people say he is (a lot of people felt like he was the most NBA ready player in the draft), he should be able to contribute in a big way immediately. If all that happens, the Suns might be able to sneak into the playoffs. That’s a lot to ask for though. The Western Conference is absolutely loaded and the Suns have one of the youngest teams in the league. This will likely be another “growing” year for this Phoenix Suns team.

So what should we expect from these guys this season?
