The NBA season is almost here. While the majority of people think the NBA season is already over before it even begins (let’s just go ahead and crown the Golden State Warriors right now, right?). we still have to let the season play out because YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPPEN, RIGHT?
What if the Warriors are involved in some kind of freak accident and everyone gets hurt?
Well, the league just opened up for all 29 other teams to win the whole thing.
Even though I personally believe it would take a plane wreck to take the Warriors down, there are some NBA teams out there that think they have the tools and weapons to do exactly that.
Are the Brooklyn Nets one of those teams? Probably not. They have been pretty dreadful the last few years and things don’t look to be getting better anytime soon. The good news for Brooklyn fans is, things will be different this year. Whether or not that will be for the better is the thing that will be the most interesting to watch this season. Brook Lopez is gone now. He was traded to the Lakers and the Nets now have the young D’Angelo Russell and the horribly overpaid Timofey Mozgov to lead their roster. They also traded for the Portland Trail Blazers horribly overpaid small forward Allen Crabbe in hopes that a change of scenery could lead to an upgrade in his game. It’s no secret that the Nets are one of the NBA’s worst-ran organizations. They have been one of the worst teams in the league over the last few years and there’s no reason to believe things will change around this season.
The main question regarding this team is……just how bad will they be?
