It was an odd week in the NFL this weekend. Everyone was protesting Donald Trump after he came out and pissed off the entire NFL community. It seems like everyone is boycotting the NFL, so if you’re one of those people who are boycotting this lovely sport, feel free to use this column as your basis to keep up-to-date on everything that happened.

There’s no reason for you to watch when I’m watching it for you.

LET’S DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NFL Sunday Round-Up

Week Three

Most Impressive Teams Of The Week

Jacksonville Jaguars: Serious question. Should the Jacksonville Jaguars consider moving full-time to London? It seems like anytime they go over to London, they are totally a different team than when they play in the states. In 2015, the Jags played the Bills in London and won 34-31. Last year, they played the Colts in London and won 30-27. This year they played the Baltimore Ravens and everyone expected a different result. For some reason though, Blake Bortles is the Tom Brady of England and he went off this week on what we thought was a very good Ravens defense. Jacksonville just stomped a mudhole right through Baltimore this weekend and it was never even close. I’m 100% on board with the Jags moving to England full-time. What do we have to lose people? They are just treading water in Jacksonville right now.

Buffalo Bills: The Denver Broncos were coming into Buffalo on fire. They were 2-0 and had just beat the Dallas Cowboys 42-17 on prime time television making a statement to the rest of the league. Buffalo didn’t care though. The Bills handled their business against the Broncos this weekend, playing good defense and making Trevor Siemian look exactly like Trevor Siemian should look…..completely average. There were a lot of people who were high on the Broncos coming into this weekend, so this was a massive win for Buffalo.

Chicago Bears: THE BEARS BEAT THE STEELERS!!!! I REPEAT, THE BEARS BEAT THE STEELERS!!!! No one saw this one coming, not even Chicago fans. However, something tells me they will gladly take it. Pittsburgh is one of the top dogs in the AFC and Chicago is considered one of the worst teams in the NFL. Bears fans are living high this weekend though.

Atlanta Falcons: Atlanta is 3-0 after a hard-fought victory on-the-road against a very good Detroit Lions team. Not bad for a Super Bowl Hangover, eh? Were we too quick to start shoveling dirt on the Falcons grave after watching them lose that lead to the Patriots in the Super Bowl last year? This team looks ready to wash that memory out of everyone’s head. This was a very impressive win by the Falcons.

Minnesota Vikings: It looks like it doesn’t matter who plays quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, these guys are going to put the boots to you even with Case Keenum playing the most important position on-the-field. Minnesota absolutely housed the Buccaneers this weekend. Keenum went off for almost 400 yards and 3 touchdowns on a weak Tampa Bay secondary. Dalvin Cook had a good game on the ground and Stefon Diggs continues to blossom into one of my favorite wide receivers in the league. The Buccaneers looked out-classed and out-matched this weekend against Minnesota. The Vikings have looked legitimately scary so far this season. And yes, even with Case Keenum playing QB.

New York Jets: THE JETS WIN! THE JETS WIN! THE JETS WIN! Seriously though….THE JETS WON A FOOTBALL GAME! In case you forgot, this is a roster that a lot of people thought was barely even CFL-worthy. This is a team that’s front office is legitimately trying to lose football games in order to improve their draft stock. Unfortunately for the Jets front office, tanking is almost impossible in the NFL. The players will never tank and lose on purpose. It just won’t happen and the Jets proved that once again this weekend when they went out and beat a potential playoff team in Miami. It was a crazy weekend in the NFL for sure and this one was the cherry on the sundae.

New Orleans Saints: Anytime you beat a divisional rival on the road, you get mentioned here. The Saints put a whooping on the Panthers and my VERY DARK HORSE SUPER BOWL PICK win their first game of the season! Go Saints and the never-aging Drew Brees!

Los Angeles Rams: JARED GOFF. DA GOAT!

Kansas City Chiefs: For the third consecutive week in a row, the Kansas City Chiefs find themselves on this here list. We are only three weeks into the season, but the Chiefs have looked like the most complete team so far this year. They’ve been improved on offense and just as consistent as they have been on defense over the years. What’s also been consistent is Kansas City’s absolute ownage of the AFC West. With this road win over the Chargers, KC improves its win streak over the AFC West to twelve wins in a row. The Chiefs are undefeated and looking good. As a die-hard Chiefs fan, this has me all sorts of excited.

Washington Redskins: Washington shellacked the Oakland Raiders on Sunday Night Football and it was a thing of beauty. This one was never close as the Oakland offense just couldn’t get going against Washington and Kirk Cousins had himself a field day against the Raiders defense. Washington is one of those teams that no one was really high on coming into the season. After a win like this though, people are starting to take notice. Kirk Cousins is one of the best QB’s in the league. Yes, I said it. If the Redskins let this guy go in the off-season, it will be the dumbest move any NFL team has made in sometime. Do you REALLY want that distinction Washington fans?

Most Disappointing Teams Of The Week

Baltimore Ravens: Not quite sure what happened with the Ravens this weekend, but this was just an overall ugly performance. We can go ahead and chalk it up to having to play in England, but losing to the Jaguars 44-7 is just ugly any way you slice it. This loss is going to be a hard one to forgive going forward for this team.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Much like with Baltimore, I’m not exactly sure what happened with the Steelers this weekend, but losing to Chicago at home is an embarrassing loss for a team that has Super Bowl aspirations. In my opinion, this was a game that Pittsburgh had no business losing. There are a lot of people who feel as though the Steelers are the most talented team in the league and losing to a team like Chicago is pretty worrisome. I’m not exactly selling my Steelers stock quite yet (this team is just way too talented and the NFL season is always full of hiccups along the way), but they need to rebound in a big way next weekend against Baltimore.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: This was an ugly performance by the Buccaneers against the Vikings. Like I said earlier, the Buccaneers were just out-matched in every aspect of the game against Minnesota. When Case Keenum throws for almost 400 yards and 3 touchdowns on you, it’s officially time to start panicking. I was big on Tampa Bay heading into this season, but after watching their defense just get picked apart this weekend……I’M OUT!

Miami Dolphins: Colin Cowherd just called you guys a playoff team and the most underrated team in the NFL and you know how you repaid him? BY LOSING TO THE DAMN NEW YORK JETS!!! The New York Jets easily have one of the worst rosters in the NFL and were widely picked to potentially go 0-16 this season…and they just beat the Dolphins. The Jets will likely get the #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft and the Dolphins will likely be fighting for a playoff spot come December…..and the Jets just beat the Dolphins. I don’t think we can let Miami fans forget this one anytime soon. This was U-G-L-Y and I’m sure it brought Jay Cutler right back to his days in Chicago.

Carolina Panthers: Is there anyone else out there ready to hit the panic button on Cam Newton yet? No? That’s OK. I’ll go ahead and press it for you. Something is wrong with the guy and the Panthers need to fix it immediately before their season goes down the shitter…if it isn’t already.

Los Angeles Chargers: The Chargers are 0-3 and the city of Los Angeles are ready to get rid of them already. The rumors of the Chargers potentially returning to San Diego are already starting. This franchise is just a disaster and these fans really could have used a win this weekend in order to help morale. It didn’t happen though. The Chargers were once again handed a defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs and are now staring down the real possibility of starting out 0-9 before they have a game that could be considered “winnable” on their schedule. It’s a rough time to be a fan of the Chargers.

Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals had the lead over the Packers going into the fourth-quarter…but they blew it. The good news is, the offense scored some touchdowns! The bad news is, this team sucks and they couldn’t hold onto a lead when it mattered the most. Once again, that falls on the head coach. Since this is Cincinnati, Marvin Lewis will likely get a contract extension after blowing this one.
