I love predictions. If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you love predictions as well. I’ve been making college football predictions for well over a decade now and I don’t like to brag, but I’m pretty damn good at it. I hit way more often than I whiff, but let’s face it….no one is perfect.

Anyway, I’m not the kind of guy who makes predictions and then buries them to never be seen again. Oh no. I like to bring those suckers back and see just how right/wrong I was when I made these predictions back in August.

We are going to break this down conference-by-conference because that’s just how we roll around these parts.

Next up? The teams without a conference…..the INDEPENDENTS!!!

So, without further ado…..

How Did I Do?:

No one really cares about the Independents because they are the men without a country. The only teams that really matter are Notre Dame and BYU. Notre Dame was extremely crappy this year and head coach Brian Kelly is on the hot seat heading into next season. I would feel dumb for whiffing on them, but EVERYONE whiffed on them. No one expected them to be as bad as they were this year.

BYU on the other hand was a bit of a surprise. New head coach Kalani Sitake was extremely impressive in his first year in Provo. The Cougars may have hit a homerun with his hire, especially considering former head coach Bronco Mendenhall was a big fat disappointment at Virginia this season. Watch out for BYU next season. Can we get these guys in a conference already? Preferably a Power 5 one (looking at you BIG 12)?

The rest of the teams? No one cares about.
