The Prediction:

Perhaps no other NBA team went through a makeover quite like the Chicago Bulls did this past off-season. Pau Gasol and Derrick Rose are gone. Even though Rose was no longer the player he once was, he was still a huge symbol on this Bulls team and the Chicago fan base was a little upset at his departure. It will be OK though Bulls fans. Your team is likely going to be better off with the often-injured point guard now playing in New York. The Bulls are now Jimmy Butler’s team and he’s rightfully deserved it. Butler has been the best player on the Bulls for the last few seasons and it’s time for no distractions.

Well, maybe just a few. Even though Rose is gone, DWYANE FREAKING WADE surprised more than a few folks when he signed with the Bulls this past off-season. Everyone and their mother thought that Wade was a Miami Heat lifer, but apparently that wasn’t true. Wade is now playing for the Bulls in an offense that will allow him to shoot even more disgusting looking jumpers. As a Bulls fan it sounds like a nightmare. As a fan of other NBA teams, it sounds like an amazing thing that we all need to see.

So, how good will the Bulls be this year? I honestly have no idea. I think the additions of Wade and Rajon Rondo are enough to push the Bulls back into the playoffs. The question is, are they good enough to win any games when they get there? One thing is for sure with this team. They are going to be extremely fun to watch on television this season and not just for good reasons…..
